Rescuing Peter is designed to help people triumph over the disappointments and personal failures they often encounter in life.

Real Ministry – Touching Real Lives

By staff On September 30th, 2009 in Family Life, Ministry, Uncategorized /

Our objective is to reach the lost and strengthen the church – in the USA and around the world.”

We are grateful that God is allowing us to touch many lives around the world. Although we have two distinct areas of ministry International and USA Ministries, in reality, they are one. For when it’s all said and done, we minister to people. And people are people – wherever they live.

Cultures and traditions change from nation to nation, but the basic needs of humanity remain unchanged. Our goal is to minister to the basic, unchanged needs of people, whether they live here in the United States or around the world.

Where do we minister? Greece, Dominican Republic, Austria, Germany, Armenia, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Mexico and others. We are seeing God do many miraculous things for the people of those nations!

In Cambodia alone, we have already seen the Lord save over 4000 souls! People have been miraculously healed, numerous lives changed forever – and the church strengthened. (See Vision & Mission statement)

All Things New

By Tom Cannon On May 27th, 2008 in Books, Family Life, Ministry /

Feeding, nursing, caressing, counseling, and religiously washing the old nature of fallen humanity will not save anyone. The only way a child of God can be produced is when a person “is born of the Spirit.” The flesh must die, for there is no other cure. The religion of humanity loves an outward show of rites, rituals and ceremonies (Colossians 2:20-22), but these will not lead us into right relationship with God. Rather, it is the inner change of our nature, and the heart transformation that only Christ brings; that is the hope for our salvation.

“Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— 21“Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.” (NKJV)

Everything that has to do with our former nature will “perish with the doing,” because they are born of the flesh. In Matthew 15:11, Jesus said, “Every plant which my Father hath not planted shall be rooted up.” (KJV)
